Beauty Trends You Want to Try for Fall

Hot and humid weather is almost gone and we look ahead to warm September, golden October and even the chilly November. In addition to opulent fashions, one of the advantages of fall is the glorious makeup (and the fact that it stays put!). This season we've picked these four sexy makeup trends you want to see and try.

"Big Apple" Cheeks

Models' dewy cheeks were center of attention at Oscar de la Renta. Revlon's global artistic director Gucci Westman used ColorBurst Lipsticks in Fuchsia and Candy Pink that she blended into a "big apple" on models' cheeks. A particularly important effect is the strong brow. To achieve the flush yourselves, dab on any cream blush or spend 30 min. on the treadmill.

Golden, Glossy Eyelids

Golden-rimmed eyes sparkled on many of the catwalks and if the intense metallic shadows are not your thing, this trend is perfect. Dries Van Noten and Donna Karan showered models' eyes in sparkles and if you'd like to try it just dust gold eye shadow over lids and finish off with gold liquid eye liner. Add a touch of Vaseline for a glossy effect.

Vibrant Lips

Weather they were matte, glossy or traditional vibrant red lips made a statement during the fall 2011 presentations. Despite the fact that many designers had their own version of the eye-popping mouth, they all one common nominator: Lips must be seen. Whether you like Ralph Lauren's matte finish, Gucci's glossies or Diane von Furstenberg's classic red try this trend by dabbing the lipstick on the center of the lips and draw out, for a fuller lip.

Big, Thick Eyelashes

If you are a fan of the wide-eyed Twiggy look as much as us, than this one is for you. Voluminous eyelashes were the center of attention at Lanvin fall 2011 and luckily you don't have to get eyelash extension in order to achieve this look. Simply put multiple coats of mascara on your top and bottom lashes and skip the eye liner.
