Did you know that back in 1994 the house of CHANEL acquired the celebrated winery Château Rauzan-Ségla? Situated in the heart of the Margaux appellation, the winery was founded in 1661 by Pierre de Rauzan and this year marks the 350th anniversary of the vineyard. To celebrate the occasion as well as their 2009 Grand Cru Classé vintage, the Château Rauzan-Ségla is collaborating with -- who else? -- Karl Lagerfeld, who has brought his iconic drawing style to the label with a rendering of the Château.
This Grand Cru Classé will hit retail in March at fine wine purveyors nationwide for $129.Is this the most fashionable way to consume wine or the chicest way to consume fashion? You decide.
